This is a continuation of the BSC。 Ann M。 Martin never actually wrote this book as a regular novel， Katy Farina came up with the whole storyline。 I absolutely love this。 It has playful drawings， both hilarious and embarrassing events occurring， and an adorable little girl who thinks she lives next to a witch。 This story is very funny and is very cute。

Probably my favorite series growing up so to see it in graphic novel form with bright coloring and amazing art is a total moment。 The story itself was lacking and hated the ending lol but that’s an adult for you！ Definitely makes me want to read book 2 tho…and maybe all of my baby sister’s club books that I still have 🤓

Another book my daughter asked me to read！ I remember this series from when I was a kid， so the graphic novel adaptation felt updated yet familiar。 The BSC graphic novels are hugely popular at both my elementary and middle school libraries， and I know my younger students will love these as well。 Ages 7 and up。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Okay。 Little kid ripoff of the BSC。 Fine book。 I read it in a bookstore， and it was not very good。 Ripoff， and Karen Brewer， especially in this book， is a plain bad example for little kids。She lies， wrecks an innocent garden meeting， and it’s just bad， bad bad。 I don;t suggest this book。 It’s a little boring。 （However， if you see it the library and bookstore， peek at the first few pages！ You’ll see so spoilers about Watson’s ex-wife。）

I read this because my daughter picked it out at the book store， and then proceeded to read it in one sitting。 It was cute but not as complex as I had expected and my daughter said it was “too easy but still fun”。 I would agree。 Also， Karen is still the worst， after allllll these years…

I am here for all the BSC graphic novels， reboots， etc。 Let me re-live the glorious days of my reading youth。 The art is cheerful and the story simple as was intended for the younger edition/ sister series of the BSC。

L got this book as an Easter gift from her grandma and we had fun reading it together。 I was an avid Babysitters Club fan as a child and my sister was a fan of the Babysitter's Little Sister series as she was learning to read。 Because I discovered the Babysitter's Club books before I discovered the Little Sister books I decided I was technically too old to read about Karen， although of course I occasionally picked one up and read one as a kid。 So I was happy to see that， just like the Babysitter L got this book as an Easter gift from her grandma and we had fun reading it together。 I was an avid Babysitters Club fan as a child and my sister was a fan of the Babysitter's Little Sister series as she was learning to read。 Because I discovered the Babysitter's Club books before I discovered the Little Sister books I decided I was technically too old to read about Karen， although of course I occasionally picked one up and read one as a kid。 So I was happy to see that， just like the Babysitters Club books， there are now graphic novel versions of some of these。To be honest， I barely remember Karen's Witch （other than the fact that I'm fairly sure my sister left her copy on an airplane on a family vacation） so I can't speak for how true this version is to the original， although it tracked with what I remembered。 This took me happily right back to my childhood， and L liked it a lot， too。 She was very concerned about Karen's misbehavior， though， and kept telling me things like， "Oh no， I can't believe she's doing that！"I will definitely check out more of these for L if we come across others in the series。 。。。more

This was a cute book。 I read it with my seven year old daughter and it brought back memories from when I read the Babysitter’s Club chapter books as a kid。 It was also our first graphic novel together。 She enjoyed it so much， we ordered the second one in the series。 I love reading books with my girl！
